Every TRAIN customer, is
required to purchase a ticket before getting on the
bus. Tickets can be purchased at the TRAIN ticket offices
or at the authorised reatil ticket outletes.
The traveller needs to validate
the ticket on the bus, using the special validating
ticket machines. The traveller is required to check
that the ticket has been validated.The travel needs
to be in possesion of the ticket and the membership
pass throughout the whole duration of the trip. The
membership pass needs to be convalidate on the first
day of travel and nedds to be supported by the concession
ID card released by TRAIN.In the instance whereby the
membership pass cannot be utilised, TRAIN can reimburse
the amount or extend its expery day if the request is
lodged by the first day of its validity. Passes can
be defered only if the traveller provides a medical
certificate stating the admission to hospital.
In the instance where the validating ticket machine
is not functioning, the travel is required to notify
the bus driver who will endevour to write, at the back
of the ticket, the time and date of travel.
Tickets cannot be handed
over to other people, they need to be carried through
the whole dutration of the trip and, upon request by
the ticket inspector, the traveller needs to show a
valid ticket.
Children no higher
then one meter who are escorted by an adult, can travel
free of charge if they don't occupy a seat; outside
those boundaries they will pay the normal fare. If a
traveler is escorting more then one child, only one
of the children will travel free of charge, where as
the other children are required to purchase a full price
ticket.
