Ticket refund
In case of defaults
attributed to the company, the customer has the right
to obtain a ticket refund in the following instances:
· On suburban routes: in the instance
where the journey is carried out with a delay of more
then 30 minutes (art.16 D.P.G.R 9/R-2005)
· On local routes: in the instance where
there is a delay greater then 30 minutes or the bus
run is cancelled (art.23 comma 1 lettera n-ter. L.R.
42/98)
The refund consists of the reimbursement of the price
of the ticket by writing to : Siena Mobilità
s.c.a.r.l.S.S.73 Levante n. 23 - 53100 Siena - and attching
the ticket to the letter.
Animal transportation:
regulation valid for the year 2005
On Train means of transportation
it is not possible to carry animals except for guide
dogs and small animals for which the following regulations
are in place:
- every blind person can carry with him/her free of
charge only one guide dog of a reasonalbe size, equipped
with muzzle;
- small animals with muzzle and other small animals
are allowed on the means of transportation free of charge,
as long as the letter are locked in a cage, crating,
basket, or any other suitable carring tool in order
to avoid any demage to other passengers and/or the vehicle.
It is the owners responsibility to ensure that the carring
tool can be hold on the owners lap or in the allocated
spaces and that there are no objections form other passengers.
- The animal's owner is responsible for the compensation
of any demage caused to the vehicle or person.
Trasportation
of non escorted parcels
The bus companies carry
out the postage of parceles no greater then 20kg and
of a maximum size of 50x50x50 cm, at the cost of €7,50
each, ensuring that the value of the parcel is not greater
then €500,00.
Train carries out the aboe service only on the suburban
route 131 to Firenze departing from Siena at 9.10 a.m.
and 9.40 a.m; whilst on the SITA buses the service is
guarantee to and from the main locations connected by
the TPL services. This service is not carried out on
LFI and RAMA buses.
Transportation
of escorted parcels
Escoreted parcels of
a size greater then 50x30x25 are subject to a fee.
Travel conditions
for children
Children no higher then
one meter who are escorted by an adult, can travel free
of charge if they don't occupy a seat; outside those
boundaries they will pay the normal fare. If a traveler
is escorting more then one child, only one of the children
will travel free of charge, where as the other children
are required to purchase a full price ticket.
